  • To fight against the possibility of doping and drugs.
  • To encourage and ensure the health of the athletes by implementing certain required measures.
  • To provide encouragement and support the sports organizations paving for a platform for the players to perform in the future games.
  • To promote development that is needed for sustaining the interest of the Olympic games.
  • To support the activities of the International Olympic Academy (“IOA”) and other institutions for the propagation of the Olympic education.
The total number of IOC members may not exceed 115.The International Olympic Committee (IOC) approximately distributes about 92% of Olympic marketing revenue to the various organizations throughout the Olympic movement for being able to stage the Olympic games for promoting sports from the perspective of worldwide development. The organization however retains about 8% of Olympic marketing revenue for its own administrative and operational which is required for governing the whole Olympic movement.
